What is the oldest building at Scott Base?

There are three original huts - the mess hut (or Hut A) and two small magnetic huts. The mess hut or TAE/IGY hut as it is now known, also included the leader’s room and the radio room. It is preserved as an historic monument under the Antarctic Treaty and is set up as a museum. It is also used as a quiet area where people can relax.
